The creation of a non-profit association “Data for Modeling Plasmas” or DMP is a natural outgrowth of the LXCat project and is a structure allows for community-management and community-funding of infrastructure projects related to exchange of numerical tools and data for modeling the physics and chemistry of plasmas.
DMP is, according to French law, an association of members who adhere to a certain objective and a set of by-laws for governance. Details are provided on the website.
